The Reverend Dairy G. Johnson, Sr. is the 9th pastor of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Corsicana, Texas, graduate of Corsicana High School, with an Associate of Applied Science Degree from Navarro Junior College 1972, graduate of Southern Bible Institute of Dallas, Texas 1987, Associate in Biblical Studies, received his Master of Theology from Guadalupe College Theological Seminary. Received three diplomas from the National Baptist Sunday School Baptist Training Union Congress of Christian Workers 1991-1997-2005.
 

The Reverend Johnson is the Publisher of The Examiner-Corsicana a monthly publication started in January 1990 to provide an alternate voice for the African American Community.

The Examiner-Corsicana is a member of the Texas Publishers Association since November 1990 and has garnered awards for Community Service, Youth Page, Church Page, Editorial Page, Best News Story, Best In-House Ad. The Examiner-Corsicana has the distinction of being named the “Best Tabloid Newspaper 2002.

Locally the paper has been honored by the 4-H Club of Navarro County, The Jackson Ex-Students Association, Navarro County Boys & Girls Club, and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Commission.

The Reverend Johnson dutifully served as Texas Publishers Vice-President in 2001 and as Vice-President in 2006 thru 2007, and is currently serving as Secretary 2007-2008 for Texas Publishers Association of Texas.
